registration
Contact us for the discount code by calling or texting 405-480-2333 (or 405-247-5433) or emailing angeltree@oakridgecamp.com. After an initial eligibility check we will give you the discount code to register. The discount code will allow you to tentatively check out without paying, but not be fully approved for the scholarship or opportunity to attend. After you check out, our team will review your eligibility for camp and approve the discount if applicable. If approved you will receive an email confirmation and show a $0 balance in your account.
NOTE!! There is a $10 registration fee per camper that is not covered by the scholarship! Why is there a $10 registration fee? This helps us know that families are committed to attending, and keeps people
Eligibility & Acceptance
Angel Tree children will be eligible for one summer camp per year, as well as one off-season camp.
All Angel Tree scholarships are not confirmed and will show a balance due until Oakridge verifies Angel Tree eligibility for your camper, and they qualify based on camp behavior history. If you were contacted about your camper concerning a discipline issue in the past, that camper may not qualify until the following year or beyond. Please contact us with any questions.
Deadline - Register one month or Two weeks before retreat to Avoid $10 per person late fee
Deadline for registration is one month before camp for summer events, and two weeks before the camp start date for off-season events. If campers are not registered earlier than these deadlines, a $10 late fee per child will apply as well as the $10 deposit. Because we must arrange for counselors and buy shirts, food and merchandise, early registration is very important.
If you have a date conflict or do not want your camper to attend one of our angel tree exclusive sessions, please contact us to request other potential date options.
We look forward to serving you and your camper!
Please Note:
1) Campers should not bring cell phones to camp. Many of our camp sessions at Oakridge follow this policy in order to promote outdoor experiences, social interactions at camp, and spiritual and mental health.
2) At check-in we will receive prescription medication in original bottles, perform a lice check, and perform a bag check to make sure no weapons or contraband (vapes, marijuana, alcohol, etc.) are on camp.
3) You will need to be available by phone for the duration of the event to speak to your camper and/or pick up camper if there is health or behavior concern. If early pick up is needed, guardians need to arrive within 1.5 hours of the contact from camp.
4) You will be emailed a packing list - please make sure your camper has bedding & pillow, towels, toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.), modest clothing, tennis shoes, and a swimsuit for summer camp. Contact us if you do not have access to these items.
